Server Watch tracks OVHcloud dedicated server stock for each exact configuration in each datacenter, and emails people who asked to be notified when one they are watching comes back in stock.
It reads OVHcloud's public dedicated-server availability feed and records, per configuration and per datacenter, when stock appears and disappears. People can ask to be emailed once when a specific configuration in a specific datacenter comes back.
It reads public data only. It never places orders, never signs in to any OVHcloud account, and holds no OVHcloud credentials.
One unauthenticated GET of the public dedicated-server availability feed every 60 seconds, from a single host, with gzip and a full backoff on 429 and 5xx responses. The feed is fetched once in full and filtered locally rather than being queried per plan code. Catalog and pricing data for the IE subsidiary is refreshed once a day.
The 60-second interval is a provisional decision we made ourselves. It is not a permission granted by OVHcloud, and we have not asked for one. If OVHcloud would prefer a different rate, or would rather we authenticated, tell us at the address below and we will change it — we would rather adjust than be blocked.
